AppDex Terms Overview

Use of AppDex

AppDex is provided as a curated discovery and comparison resource for AI tools and apps. You may use the site for lawful personal or business research. You may not abuse, attack, scrape excessively, bypass access controls, interfere with site operations, or use AppDex in a way that violates applicable law or third-party rights.

Scores and editorial independence

AppDex Scores are editorial assessments for discovery and comparison. They are not guarantees, endorsements, official app store ratings, professional advice, user ratings, verified reviews, or paid placements. Vendors cannot buy higher AppDex Scores.

Prices, features, app store metadata, product names, logos, availability, ratings, and policies can change. AppDex may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Visitors should verify important details directly with the relevant vendor or app store before buying, downloading, relying on, or deploying any tool.

No warranties

AppDex is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. AppDex does not warrant that the site, scores, listings, links, data, rankings, recommendations, or third-party information will be accurate, complete, secure, uninterrupted, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, AppDex and the site owner are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits; lost data; lost business; vendor disputes; purchases; subscriptions; downloads; app behavior; security incidents caused by third parties; or decisions made from AppDex content.

Company submissions

Companies may submit tools or apps for listing, correction, or promotion review. A submission does not create a rating, public review, ranking, AppDex Score, endorsement, business relationship, or guaranteed listing. AppDex may accept, reject, edit, remove, merge, or delay any submission at its discretion.

By submitting information, you confirm that you have permission to share it, that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that AppDex may use it to review, edit, publish, or maintain relevant listings. Do not submit confidential information, passwords, trade secrets, payment details, or private customer data.

Sponsored and affiliate content

AppDex may later use sponsored placements, affiliate links, or partner links. Any such placement should be disclosed clearly and should not affect AppDex Scores. Sponsored interest or affiliate participation does not guarantee listing approval, positive coverage, or a higher score.

Third-party sites and logos

AppDex may link to third-party websites, app stores, and vendor pages, and may display names, logos, icons, or screenshots for identification and comparison. Third-party marks belong to their respective owners. AppDex is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by listed vendors unless explicitly stated.

Owner rights

The site owner may update, remove, restrict, redirect, archive, or discontinue any page, feature, route, score, listing, category, comparison, or submission workflow at any time. AppDex may also block abuse, remove inaccurate content, and preserve records needed for security, legal, or operational reasons.

Indemnity

If you submit information to AppDex or use the site in violation of these Terms, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your submission, misuse, violation of law, or violation of third-party rights.
